After a long hiatus, we return with a post that still makes us travel in the United Kingdom. We Lochness, a legendary name tied to Nessie, the famous monster that this part of the much publicized Scotland. The area of \u200b\u200bLoch Ness is composed of several small, friendly villages and its economy is just all around this mythical figure: the magnet that you see on the side is just one of the wonderful gadgets that you can find in place. What struck us this magnet is delighted gaze of the monster with his teeth and beautiful views in the typical Scottish matching hat-scarf. All this makes it a valuable piece in our collection.
But the affection for the magnet is also due to the memory of the beautiful local landscapes, green as far as the eye can see, peace and quiet, people friendly and welcoming pub with a wide selection of beers and whiskey (ok, at the end We always come back here ....).
The town is most famous place of Inverness and one that is tied more to the lake and its mythology is Drumnadrochit (do not try to pronounce it ...) the establishment of the Loch Ness Centre, a museum which tells the story of the lake and the surrounding areas, all very scientific though linked to local histories. Other attractions in the area is wonderful Urquhart Castle which retains all its charm, even if completely ruined.
