The second post on the Sea is dedicated to the beautiful city of Helsinki, capital of Finland. The city is spread over several small islands and has several points of interest include the Senate Square with the cathedral, the monument to the composer Sibelius , the Kiasma Museum for contemporary art, the picturesque marina with the local market and much more.
The city is not huge, with a day at your disposal can be visited on foot starting from the marina and arrives at the Sibelius Monument. It 'nice to walk in these beautiful avenues where different types of architecture and alternate chase, classic, modern, rustic and modern.
the marina you can buy colorful berries and local products such as hats, crafts and food specialties such as meatballs with reindeer!
Christmas is also present in summer and between objects to be bought there are certainly the tree decorations, glass, wood or fabric. And who, if not Santa Claus (who lives here although a little 'further north to Rovaniemi ), could be the protagonist of our magnet? Rubber with a very useful thermometer, reminds us that the Finnish climate is quite cold even though we at the end of August, we enjoyed a beautiful sunny day with temperatures around 15 degrees.
